An evening itinerary, to discover the most important and most famous places of the Eternal City in a romantic atmosphere of another time this is richly fascinating.
Programme
We will see, among other places, the Exhibition Palace, the Fountain of the Naiads in Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia with the Vittoriano, dedicated to the King Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Tomb to the Unknown Soldier, Capitol Square.
Reliving the ancient Roman age admiring the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine and the Circus Maximus.
Then skirting the Tiber River, we will see the Jewish quarter with the synagogue and nearby, the imposing structure of the Castel Sant'Angelo and the St. Peter’s Basilica.
The Villa Borghese Park makes a frame of some of the most beautiful gateways of Rome: Porta Flaminius, from where you can admired the Piazza del Popolo, with its characteristic oval form, and the Porta Pincio, which leads to the Via Veneto, the symbol of the "Dolce Vita" (that Federico Fellini immortalized in the film of the same name in 1960).
The tour provides for two stops: Piazza Navona with the beautiful Fountain of the Four Rivers a work by Bernini, and the Fontana di Trevi where, according to tradition, tourists throw a coin for good luck.
Return to the hotel.
