The property was created from an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 1800’s, completely restored in June 2010 with respect for the original architecture.

With its stone look, the threshing room floor, and the wooden beams, it is possible to relive and taste the ancient atmosphere of a distant past, mixed to the comforts of today. Its elevated position, surrounded by a wood, dominates the entire Valdichiana, and also offers a view of a suggestive corner of Lake Trasimeno.

The Rose Bedroom

Available with a the balcony, is furnished with outdoor furniture allowing one to admire the panorama from Montepulciano to Mont Amiata. The Rose bedroom is a romantic and spacious room. Furnished with antique furniture, a Persian carpet, and a king-size bed. The bathroom with two windows which also allows a beautiful view over the Val di Chiana, Monte San Savino and Arezzo.

The Blue Bedroom

A very elegant room furnished with furniture from the early 1800’s. It has a beautiful view over Castiglion Fiorentino, Castello di Montecchio, and Cortona. It faces the orchard of the property, and the olive trees that skirt the access avenue. The bathroom is equipped with a double wash basin, and a separate shower and bath.

The Green Bedroom

A relaxing room with its light green walls, furnished with an art nouveau wardrobe. The room looks over Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Castello di Montecchio and the rolling Tuscan hills. The bathroom has a shower.

The Bedroom of the Pheasants

This room is in a separate building. The large room is furnished with antique furniture and has a French door that has a panorama over the open countryside where to the north you can see Cortona. The bathroom has a shower.

The dining room The buffet breakfast is served in an elegant dining room. The breakfast is make up of homemade cakes and jams, sliced meats, cheeses, fruit of the season, cereal, fruit juice, bread and small croissants. Not forgetting tea and coffee. All served with silver cutlery and ‘Richard Ginori’ china

The Swimming Pool  is open from May to September and measures 6x14metres, at the side is a hydro-massage pool, idea for relaxing in the sun, surrounded by roses and broom. It is furnished with deck chairs and large umbrellas from where you can admire the magnificent panorama of the property.

The owner is an excellent cooking course teacher.

The B&B is an excellent departure point for visiting the small hamlets and cities of art of Tuscany and Umbria.

By train you can comfortable reach the large cities of Florence, Rome and Pisa.
