Surroundings: The villa is found 800mt. from a small fraction where there are food shops, typical products and a baker, and only 2km away is the town of Santa Mama, where guests can find a post office, bank, petrol station, supermarket, some typical eateries and pizza places.
While staying at the Villa Toscana 108, with a short trip by car of around 30-40 minutes you can visit the Casentino hamlets such as: Poppi, Bibbiena, Pratovecchio, Stia, Subbiano, get to know the Monastery of Camaldoli and the Franciscan Sanctuary of Verna, highly spiritual places immersed in the splendid Casentino forests, the austere medieval castles and the suggestive Romanesque parish churches, or reach the city of Cortona (60mins.), Arezzo (20mins.).
We suggest that you take the train from the Arezzo station for the more important cities such as: Florence , in 60 minutes you will be in the historical centre, in 2 hours you will reach Rome, Orvieto in 50 minutes, Perugia in 60 minutes, Assisi in 1 ½ hours.
