Surroundings:The villa is located 800 mt.(less than half a mile) from the small town where you can find grocery stores, local products, and bread shop. 2 km. away(1.2 miles), is the town of Santa Mama, where our guests can find a post office, a bank, a gas station, a supermarket, and all types of pizzerias and trattorias.
If you have a car, we recommend that you visit the neighboring villages, which are just a few kilometers away, such as Poppi(20 minutes), Subbiamo(10 mins.), the Monastery of Camaldoli(30 mins.), the church of Verna(30 mins.), the city of Arezzo(20 mins.), Cortona(60 mins.), or even the enchanting area of the Casentinesi Forest(40 mins.), or the golf course at the Golf club of Casentino (30 mins.) which has 9 holes.
We recommend that you use the train , leaving from the railway station of Arezzo, to see the major cities like Florence, that in 60 minutes you will be right in the historical center of the city. In 2 hours, you can be in Rome, in 50 minutes, you can reach Orvieto, in 60 minutes you can be in Perugia, and in 1 hour and a half, you are in Assisi.
