For the small villages like Montepulciano, Pienza, Corciano, Castiglione del Lago, Montalcino, Siena, Trevi, Spello, Gubbio, Val d’Orcia, and il Casentino, it is necessary to have a car. Each of these villages can be reached in less than one hour and half of driving.
