Casa Uva is part of the wonderful Luxury Villa Profumo, located within a characteristic ancient hamlet that has just been restored to its orginal splendour. The antrance to the Villa is through an avenue of cypress trees and ancient olive groves; its location is strategic, right on top of a hill with a stunning boundless panorama at 360 degrees over all the Val di Chiana.
Casa Uva is a self catering accommodation for 8 people. It's very elegant and beautifully furnished with furniture and ornaments from local artisans. The beautiful Swimming Pool, in common use only with Casa Oliva, is 8x16mt with a depth of maximum 1 mt and half. The swimming pool is fenced for the security of your children and is equipped with dressing rooms and bathrooms. From the lovely pergolas and the swimming pool you can enjoy uninterrupted views all around, that will make your stay something special.
The hamlet is located right along the bike trail of the Bonifica path, that stretches from Chiusi to Arezzo. Casa Uva is near to all the many tourist attractions that can be easily reached by car or train. It is reccommended to have a car. This is the ideal place for visiting the Southern part of Tuscany. The near beautiful hill town of Cortona is famous as an Etruscan settlement and for the 'Under The Tuscan Sun' summer music festival.

The master en-suite bedroom has a balcony with superb views towards Cortona. The large dining area under the pergola has magnificent views south and east. For the hot summer nights there is full air conditioning and the internal shutters and mosquito nets on all the windows aid a great night's sleep. An open fire complements the central heating for full use in the winter. The artisan built fully fitted kitchen typical of the antique Tuscan furniture.

Surroundings: Casa Uva, situated in Southern Tuscany, is perfect for visiting all the beautiful Renaissance hill towns of Cortona, Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, Lucignano, Pienza, Montepulciano; all within 30 to 45 minutes driving. Assisi is just over an hour. Daytrips to Florence and Rome are possible by rail from the nearby station of Terontola. Lake Trasimeno with boat trips and water sports and the beautiful Val D'Orcia are both within 20 minutes driving. The Etruscan hill town of Cortona, with artworks, workshops, museums, unique shops and first class restaurants, is only 15 minutes by car. For the most serious shopper the Val di Chiana Outlet Village is easily accessible by car. The area is adjacent to one of the top three wine areas of Italy, that of the Brunello of Montalcino Wine, and you can visit the near vineyards of the Montepulciano region, famous for the Nobile of Montepulciano Wine.
